The Laurel River Room
The Laurel River Room is a beautiful Creekside STEM classroom ideal for environmental education, ecology, and a place to dive into all things creek and science. This space has been created to facilitate in educating our community and beyond through classes, workshops, hands on learning for students of all ages. Some of the groups hosted in the Laurel River Room included: University of North Carolina Asheville (UNCA), Mars Hill University (MHU), Muddy Sneakers, Hot Springs Elementary School, the Laurel 4H Club, Asheville Mushroom Club, Penrose Environmental and many more to come.
